Every second, two people die. Your heart beats about 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those beats will be your last. Where will you go when your LAST second arrives? Here's a quick test to find out. Have you ever lied? Stolen anything? Looked with lust? God calls lust adultery. Ever used God's name as a curse word? That's blasphemy. The Bible says, it's appointed unto men once to die and then the judgement (Heb. 9:27). If God judges you by the Ten Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? Do you think you would go to Heaven or Hell? The Bible says that all liars and the sexually immoral will have their place in the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8), and that all your righteous deeds are filthy rags to a holy God (Isa. 64:6). God's standard is perfection. You must keep all the commandments and never sin. The Bible says, whoever keeps the whole law and stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it (Jam. 2:10). God also says that all have sinned and fall short of His standard (Rom. 3:23). The good news is that Jesus, who is fully God and fully man, fulfilled the law by living the perfect/sinless life required by God. Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being made a curse for us when he died on the cross (Gal. 3:13). You broke God's law and Jesus paid your fine. He died to pay for sin and then rose from the grave three days later to conquer both sin and death. So, repent of trusting in your good works to save you and place your complete trust in Jesus as Lord and His finished work on the cross to be saved from God's judgement. Remember, every second two people die. What if your last second comes today?
