STATEMENT OF FAITH

- We believe in one God in three persons --- God-the-Father, God-the-Son, and God-the-Holy Spirit.

- We believe that Jesus Christ is God who came from heaven to earth and became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.

- We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, the virgin Mary.

- We believe that Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life.

- We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of ALL our sins.

- We believe that after Jesus Christ died on the cross, He rose from the dead bodily on the third day --- and after appearing over a 40-day period to many people that are reliable witnesses, He ascended bodily back into heaven at the right hand of the father.

- We believe that salvation is offered to us by God as a FREE GIFT and depends entirely on the grace of God; "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and it is not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

- We believe that the requirement to be saved from an eternal hell and to receive the free gift of eternal life is for a person to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31). To believe in Jesus is to be fully convinced of the truth of the gospel message and to place his faith alone in Jesus' promise for the free gift of everlasting life (John 5:24; John 4:14; John 11:26; 1 Tim. 1:16).

- We believe God desires all men to be saved, but salvation is found ONLY through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; John 14:6; 1Timothy 2:5, 6).

- We believe that a work of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is that He comes to convict (convince) the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8-11). His conviction of sin is because of a lost person's unbelief in Jesus and His full payment on the cross that He made for all sins; of righteousness, because of the nature of God's holy righteousness and man’s need for this perfect righteous which comes to him ONLY through faith in Jesus Christ; of judgment, because Satan, who blinds the mind of the unbeliever (2Cor. 4:4), has already been judged at the cross and awaits his final judgment in the lake of fire. All those who reject Jesus are knowingly or unknowingly siding with Satan and will be judged along with him and share his ultimate destination in the lake of fire.

- We believe that upon a person's faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit baptizes him into the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13), seals him for the day of redemption (Eph. 1:14, 4:20), permanently indwells the new believer (John 14:15), and empowers him to live godly and for goods works of service that God has prepared in advance for him to do (Eph. 2:10).

- We believe the Bible in its original manuscripts is 100% accurate and is the inspired Word of God. That "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable or doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Tim 3:16).

- We believe God's purpose for our ministry is to glorify God by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, to bear fruit for His glory and the edification of others. Our specific calling for bearing fruit is by witnessing to the unsaved and by building many Christians into fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Luke 4:18,19 (Jesus speaking) "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
