Text on back of WORLD'S GREATEST GIFT gospel tract:

For a moment, think about what your favorite gift is that you ever received from someone. What if the person who gave you that gift told you that you needed to work at some job for several hours before you could have your gift. Would that be a gift? Of course not! A gift is free! The Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23). None of us can work our way into heaven. No amount of our good deeds will ever be enough to reach God's standard. That's because we are all sinners and God's standard is perfection. The Bible says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23) and "For whoever keeps the whole Law, yet stumbles in one point, has become guilty of all." (James 2:10). Do you think you've kept God's commandments perfectly? Have you ever lied, stolen, looked with lust, or hated someone? Jesus calls looking with lust adultery, and He calls hatred murder. The Bible says "it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment," (Hebrews 9:27) and that "all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone," (Revelation 21:8). God loves you and doesn't want you to go to hell. Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, died on the cross for your sins. Then, he was buried and three days later He rose from the dead. So, what do you need to do? Right now, admit you're a sinner, tell the Lord you believe that Jesus is God, thank Jesus for taking your punishment for all your sins on the cross, and trust in Him alone for His free gift of eternal life. The Bible says, "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;" and "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." (Romans 10:9,13).
